Reaffirming Commitment to Health and Well-being in the Fight Against Malaria
In observance of 2025 World Malaria Day, Lekki Port proudly joined the global community in raising awareness and promoting preventive measures against malaria. This year’s theme, “Malaria Ends with Us: Reinvest, Reimagine, Reignite,” highlights the urgent call for sustained and renewed efforts to eliminate malaria in our communities.
Demonstrating its unwavering commitment to health and well-being, Lekki Port partnered with health stakeholders to facilitate a series of impactful initiatives. These included: Community awareness campaigns on malaria prevention, Distribution of insecticide-treated mosquito nets, and On-site medical consultations providing education on malaria control and treatment.
Speaking during the event, Mr. Adurayemi Ogundele, Environment/Community Manager at Lekki Port, emphasized the importance of united efforts, stating:
