TERMINAL EQUIPMENTS
- Ship To Shore (STS) Cranes (5): Super-post Panamax twin lift capability 65T STS Cranes with under spreader load for 21 containers wide reach.
- Rubber Tyred Gantry (RTG) Cranes (15):These RTG Cranes have the capacity to stack 1 over 6 with 7 containers wide with 16 wheels
Marine Equipment
- Tugboats, Pilot Cutters and Mooring Boat: The Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) is responsible for marine services at Lekki Port and has deployed two 80-ton Bollard Pull neoteric tugboats which are the first of the 2813 Azimuth Stern Drive models available in Africa. The tugboats have maneuverability of 360 degrees which will enhance the maneuvering of large capacity vessels of 300 meters LOA and above. The availability of the Pilot Cutters and Mooring Boat will aid the provision of effective marine services at the Port and are maintained by the NPA.
