Lekki Port has reinforced its commitment to security and operational efficiency with the commissioning of the Lekki Deep Seaport Police Station. This new facility will enhance law enforcement presence, improve response times to incidents, and strengthen coordination with security agencies, ensuring a safer environment for cargo, personnel, and port users.
Speaking at the commissioning, Mr. Qiang Wang, the Managing Director of Lekki Port, highlighted the importance of security in facilitating smooth trade operations and fostering investor confidence. The Commissioner of Police, Ports Authority Police Western Command, also commended the collaboration between Lekki Port, the Nigerian Ports Authority, and the Nigeria Police Force in establishing this station, emphasizing its role in crime prevention, emergency response, and maintaining order within the port complex and the Free Trade Zone.
